Shreyas Talpade eagerly awaits Golmaal 5, alongside the fans

Shreyas Talpade Excited for Golmaal 5 with Fans

Shreyas Talpade, known for his role in the hit comedy franchise Golmaal, expressed his curiosity for the fifth film in the series. Despite director Rohit Shetty’s promise to deliver Golmaal 5, production has not yet begun. Shreyas, who appeared in Golmaal Returns alongside Ajay Devgn, Arshad Warsi, Kareena Kapoor, and Tusshar Kapoor, shared his excitement for the upcoming installment.

The Golmaal franchise started in 2006 with the film Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, directed by Rohit Shetty. It featured Ajay Devgn, Sharman Joshi, Tusshar Kapoor, and Arshad Warsi. Following its success, Shetty directed three sequels: Golmaal Returns, Golmaal 3, and Golmaal Again.

During an interview with Badshah News, Shreyas revealed that both the fans and the cast are eagerly awaiting Golmaal 5. The announcement for the next film was made by Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn just before the outbreak of the pandemic. Unfortunately, due to the unforeseen circumstances of COVID-19, the production plans were disrupted.

Shreyas mentioned that they are currently unaware of the story, as only Rohit has the details. Once they receive further information from him, they will be able to provide more insights. However, like the fans, the cast is eagerly looking forward to Golmaal 5.

When asked about memorable moments from the set, Shreyas described the Golmaal sets as a constant party. Shreyas recalled reading an interview where Rohit expressed his commitment to making Golmaal as long as he continues making films. Similarly, as long as the cast remains in the industry, they hope Rohit will continue making Golmaal movies because the experience is incredibly refreshing and allows them to reunite with their beloved friends.

In addition to his involvement in Golmaal, Shreyas Talpade recently appeared in the Hindi film ‘Kaun Pravin Tambe?’ He is also set to feature in Kangana Ranaut’s directorial debut, Emergency, where he will portray the role of former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The film stars Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhary, Milind Soman, and the late Satish Kaushik.
