Prasanth said on X that HanuMan was shown in 300 theaters nationwide for 30 days. He posted a poster with the caption, “The cinematic run continues to be glorious.” thirty days spread among 300 locations. When the movie was released during Sankranthi, it competed with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram, Venkatesh’s Saindhav, and Nagarjuna’s Naa Saami Ranga. Thanks to positive feedback and word-of-mouth, it held its own and even did well financially despite being the underdog.

HanuMan narrates the tale of a young guy named Hanumanthu (Teja) who discovers a totem in his community and gets abilities. A cliffhanger in HanuMan’s finale set up Jai Hanuman, the sequel.
